About Me

Hey! I’m Tom. I’m full-time husband, father, son, teacher, artist, techie and entrepreneur. I married my beautiful bride, Lysha, on June 14, 2003. We now have our daughter, Jadyn Grace, and our son, Quinn Thomas. I love hanging out with my family, experiencing Cincinnati’s thriving art community, and traveling as well as sharing life together with family and close friends. Lysha and I thoroughly enjoy building into others’ marriages–restoring hope, love and reconciliation to unhealthy relationships that are teetering on the line of life-altering divorce.

I have recently worked as the technical director for the youth and children’s ministries of a young, revolutionary, multi-site, city-wide church, Crossroads Church, on the east side of beautiful Cincinnati. I worked to develop eight volunteer tech teams consisting of nearly seventy volunteers across two church campuses. I have enjoyed fostering a healthy environment and community for creatives and techies in the local church.

I am Co-founder and CEO of Broad Impact, a regional, Cincinnati-based technology company. Broad Impact exists to help those small businesses, non-profits and entrepreneurs that have little to no technology budget; we help in small, yet big ways.

My spare time interests are doing community with friends and loved ones and trying my best to keep up with latest technology trends. You’ll find me frequently reading techy things such as AppleTechCrunch, MobileCrunchGoogle, 37SignalsAccidentalCreative and Church Tech Leaders blogs. Other than ongoing tech trends, my latest spare time focus has been on the latest tech start-ups, Mac Mountain Lion, iPhone iOS 6, and cloud computing trends. I also enjoy writing about myself in either the first or the third person.
